According to this TV Barn
link, Blockbuster has started its own DVD online rental service apparently, to compete against similar programs from NetFlix and Wal-Mart. For $19.99 a month, you can have up to three DVDs out at a time. Everything is done by mail and there are no late fees. When you return one movie, they send you the next one on your list. I definitely love the idea and convenience of these services, but $19.99 is still a bit hefty for the amount of video rentals I make. I got my brother and sister-in-law a gift certificate for a lesser-known service called
GreenCine. It claims it offers more independent and rare titles than its competitors.
